Multimodality Technologist (CT / X-Ray)
Other Location: Rowlett TX, McKinney TX, Dallas TX,
Schedule: Various shifts available (days, nights, and weekend options)
Compensation: $36 – $52 per hour based on experience
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000
Job Summary
A major healthcare facility is seeking a Multimodality Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities, primarily Computed Tomography (CT) and Radiography (X-Ray).
The technologist will work under the supervision of a radiologist to perform imaging procedures for ambulatory and hospital patients as ordered by a physician or licensed provider. The role requires maintaining high standards of patient care, imaging quality, and radiation safety while following established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in CT and Radiography (X-Ray).
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process to ensure comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper positioning for accurate imaging results.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in the imaging system.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and department protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.
• Maintain equipment and report any technical issues as needed.
Qualifications
Education
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Experience
• CT experience required
• Dual-modality experience (CT and X-Ray) preferred
• Hospital imaging experience is a plus
Certifications / Licensure
• ARRT certification in Radiography ARRT(R)
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography ARRT(CT)
• Texas MRT license (Medical Radiologic Technologist)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
