Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Primary Care / Specialty Support
Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $135,000 – $156,000 per year (based on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a well-established healthcare practice in New York, NY. This role focuses on delivering high-quality primary care and specialty support while emphasizing preventive care, patient education, and long-term health management.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about building strong patient relationships, providing comprehensive care, and collaborating with physicians and clinical teams in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive primary care services including patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Conduct preventive care visits, routine check-ups, and chronic disease management
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate specialty care and patient follow-ups
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
• Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice
• Educate patients on health maintenance, lifestyle changes, and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EMR system
• Ensure compliance with clinical quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Nurse Practitioner Program (Family, Adult, or Geriatric)
• Active New York Nurse Practitioner License
• AANP or ANCC Certification
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
