RN Role Expectations
- Scrubbing required: No
- Charge Nurse: Available 24/7
- OR Techs: Yes
- EMR System: Epic
Scheduling
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Typical Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Overnight shifts are rare, but may occur if:
- Night call team is on vacation
- Staff calls out sick
- Scheduling Style: Based on department needs
- No block scheduling
Call Requirements
Weeknight Call
- Usually 4 hours after scheduled shift
- May cover night call shift up to 12 hours
- Volunteers first
- Typically 1–2 times per contract
Weekend Call
- 12-hour in-house day shift
- Volunteers first
- Otherwise once per month
Holiday Call
- 12-hour in-house day shift
- Volunteers first

Call Response Time

Floating is rare, but may include:
