Description
03/23 START PREFERRED
Must have OB, Mother/Baby and L&D
No RTO first TWO WEEKS of contract
Minimum years of experience: 2 years
Patient ratios – We follow AWHONN guidelines for staffing
Additional Requirements: Will work in all areas of LDRP
Certifications
Required: ACLS (AHA), BLS(AHA), NRP, AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM
Preferred: AWHONN Advanced
Skills
Required: Circulate, FHM Triage
Preferred: Scrub
WEEKEND REQUIREMENT: Will work every other weekend
FLOAT: Will float to the house as sitter when needed; will float to Bronson Methodist Kalamazoo, (27 miles) when the need exists and census allows.
CALL: None
EMR: EPIC
15 bed LDRP unit with 3 triage bays and 2 operating rooms.
RNs provide antepartum, labor and delivery, OR circulating, scrub nurse, newborn nurse at delivery and couplet care. Our nurses perform lab draws and hearing screens on newborns.
Scrubs will be provided
Will be trained to complete newborn infant hearing screens (ALGO 5 Machine used)
