Title: RN—Wound Care

Location: Bronx, NY, 10457

Job Duration: 13 Weeks, 8 hours Day (37.5hrs/week)

Shift: Monday to Friday 8-4 or 9-5

Start date: 14 April 2026

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled the Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of wound care treatment for patients with acute and chronic wounds. This includes pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, diabetic ulcers, and other skin integrity issues. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans, promotes optimal wound healing, and educates patients and families on wound prevention and management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate wounds, pressure injuries, surgical incisions, burns, and ulcers
  • Develop and implement individualized wound care plans
  • Clean, dress, and monitor wound healing progress
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
  • Educate patients and caregivers on wound prevention and self-care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow evidence-based practices
  • Monitor for signs of infection or complications and adjust treatment accordingly

RN01
Requirements Required :

  • Min 2 years of Wound Care experience
  • BLS(AHA)
  • WOCN, Wound Care Certified (WCC) via NAWCO
