Description

Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)

📍 Location: West Hollywood, CA

Job Details

Start Date: March 30, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Positions Available: 2
Shift: Night Shift – 5x8s (6:00 PM – 2:30 AM)
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday (Block Schedule)
Weekend Requirement: Yes
Travel Experience: Required

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience
Experience with complex orthopedic and trauma trays
Certification Required:
- CBSPD or
- IAHCSMM / HSPA
Flu Vaccine required (No exemptions)
Active certification must be available at the time of submission
First-time travelers are NOT accepted

Required Skills

Low Temperature Sterilization
Sterilization Monitoring
Ortho/Totals and Neuro/Crani instrument processing
Sets/Trays Assembly
Steam Sterilization testing & monitoring
Immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS)

Preferred Experience

Level I Trauma facility
Teaching hospital experience
SPM usage
Robotics (Da Vinci instruments)
Instrument systems: Stryker, Synthes, Zimmer, DePuy

Unit Details

Daily census: 120
48 OR rooms
Processing approximately 200 trays per day from the Marina Del Rey facility using off-site reprocessing trailers.
