Description

Pharmacist – Klamath Falls, OR

Location: Klamath Falls, OR 97601-1106
Department: Pharmacy
Division: Nursing
Care Setting: Outpatient

Job Type: Contract – 13 Weeks (potential for extension)
Start Date: 04/06/2026
Shift: 10-hour shifts, Monday–Saturday

Monday–Friday: 07:45–19:15
Saturday: 08:00–17:15
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Responsibilities

Dispense medications accurately in a hospital and retail outpatient setting.
Provide pharmaceutical counseling and patient education.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Float between multiple pharmacy locations, including:
- Washburn location
- On-campus outpatient pharmacy
- Off-site drive-through pharmacy (~5 miles away)
- Grocery store pharmacy (~3 miles away)
Maintain compliance with hospital and state pharmacy regulations.
Chart and document patient interactions using EPIC.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BS required)
Experience: Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience
Licenses: Valid pharmacist license for Oregon
Certifications: AHA - BLS Certification
