Description

Ultrasound Tech needed in Lawton, OK for a hospital based assignment. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams with a focus on high quality imaging, patient safety, and clear communication. Typical studies may include abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, and limited emergency scans depending on department needs. You will confirm orders, obtain patient history, position patients appropriately, select proper protocols, and ensure images are complete for radiologist interpretation. Strong technical skills, professionalism, and comfort working in a fast paced environment are important.

Active ARDMS certification required (RDMS and or RVT based on facility needs) BLS required Recent acute care or hospital ultrasound experience preferred Comfortable with abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular exams as applicable to the department Must be able to take call if required (nights, weekends, holidays depending on facility) Must be able to pass background, drug screen, and complete all facility compliance items on time Flexibility with scheduling and case volume as needed
