Schedule: 5 Days/Week

Expected Hours: 7.5 Hours per Day | 37.5 Hours per Week
 

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist with (General Radiographer experience) to join the Diagnostic Radiology Department.

This role is ideal for an ARRT-certified technologist with at least one year of experience, including hands-on exposure to interventional procedures. The technologist will support diagnostic and interventional imaging services in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
• Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety practices during all procedures
• Operate radiologic imaging equipment following departmental and regulatory standards
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Verify patient identity and imaging orders before performing examinations
  Review images for quality and accuracy prior to submission to the radiologist
• Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures in hospital information systems
• Follow infection control, radiation protection, and patient safety protocols
• Maintain and prepare imaging rooms and equipment for daily operations
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to support patient care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience (General Radiography)
  ARRT (R) Certification required
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (NYSDOH) required
• BLS Certification required
