Description

Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist
Location: Morristown, NJ
Position Type: 9 Weeks (40 Hours Expected)
Shift: Day – 5x8 Hour Shifts (08:00 AM – 04:00 PM; flexible as lab operates 24/7)

Job Description:
• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology required (BS preferred)
• Certifications: ASCP or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification required
• Experience: Previous laboratory experience preferred; new graduates may be considered
• Responsibilities: Perform laboratory testing in the Core Lab and report results according to SOP
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment
• Perform quality control procedures and maintain laboratory documentation
• Manage laboratory supplies and inventory
• Provide laboratory information and support to the patient care team
• Preferred Skills: Experience with Total Lab Automation systems
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with flexibility as the lab operates 24/7
