Description

🩺 Physician Assistant – Gastroenterology | Bronx, NY

Description:
Seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join a gastroenterology team providing care for patients with digestive and liver disorders in an outpatient clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and manage patients with GI and hepatology conditions such as GERD, IBS, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, hepatitis, cirrhosis, and gallbladder disease
Perform patient assessments and review medical histories
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-ray, MRI, ultrasound, labs)
Assist with GI procedures such as endoscopy and colonoscopy
Develop treatment plans and collaborate with physicians and specialists
Maintain accurate EMR documentation and provide patient education

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Active New York PA License
Strong clinical, communication, and patient management skills
GI or hepatology experience preferred (new grads may be considered)

💰 Salary: $115,000 – $130,000 per year
