Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: School 1:1 Licensed Practical Nurse ~ Part-Time!

We're currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse  ($30-$40/hour) to support a preschool student with seizures near Crestwood, IL area.

• Qualifications:You will need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a current Illinois LPN License
• Preference is one year school based experience and knowledge of working with pediatrics

Role Overview:

The School Based Nurse (LPN) position involves providing dedicated 1:1 care to student during transport to and from afternoon classes. The role focuses on essential nursing tasks such as monitoring/addressing seizures, positioning, assistance with classroom tasks, ensuring the student's health and safety during transportation.  

Job Details:

• Schedule: Part time - 2 days/week ~ Monday and Friday
• Dates: Immediate need - end of school year
• Hours: approximately 8:25 AM – 2:55 PM
• Setting: school
• In-person  

Key Responsibilities:  

• Responsibilities would include g-tube feeding, respiratory issues, positioning, assistance with classroom tasks
• Ensure safety during bus rides to and from school.
• 10 yr old student/4th grader
