Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a 26-week contract in a Cardiology Clinic. This outpatient role focuses on providing high-quality cardiovascular care, patient education, and care coordination in a collaborative clinic environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and experienced in managing cardiac patients in a clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, symptom evaluation, and EKGs
  • Assist providers with cardiology clinic visits and minor procedures
  • Provide patient education on cardiac conditions, medications, and lifestyle changes
  • Manage phone triage, patient follow-ups, and care coordination
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses
  • Coordinate diagnostic testing (stress tests, echocardiograms, Holter monitors, etc.)
  • Review lab and imaging results and ensure appropriate follow-up
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR (Epic preferred)

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Cardiology or cardiac care experience preferred
  • Experience in an outpatient or clinic setting preferred
  • Knowledge of cardiac medications and conditions
  • Experience with EKGs and cardiac monitoring
  • Strong communication and patient education skills

Schedule

 Monday – Friday
 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
40 Hours per Week
