Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Nights)
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Work schedule includes night shifts.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
- Typical workweek: 36-40 hours, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Orientation dates available starting from April through December 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Wisconsin.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Work history/resume.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of application.
- License verification.
- Copy of required certifications.
- One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
- Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (exceptions apply with rate adjustments).
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 prior travel nursing contract completed.
Additional Information
- Not eligible if employed by the same health system within the last 12 months.
- Shift differential and holiday pay apply.
- Call back and on-call pay available.
- Charge nurse and preceptor pay available.
This position is ideal for experienced ICU/PCU nurses seeking temporary night shift assignments with a reputable healthcare team.
