Arkansas Nursing License

Certifications

Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Description

Required Skills:

Valid RN license with current state authorization
At least 2 years of L&D experience, including postpartum and antepartum nursing
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
Ability to work nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) and handle emergencies with composure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Previous experience in a travel or temp staffing role
Additional certifications or training in neonatal resuscitation or advanced obstetric care

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Minimum of 2 years in an L&D setting, with postpartum/antepartum experience highly valued

Other Requirements:

Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Flexibility to float to other units if needed
Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
Willingness to start ASAP for a 13-week assignment
