ICU Registered Nurse (RN) | Small Unit | High-Acuity Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a close-knit, 4-bed ICU unit delivering critical care to a diverse patient population. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a hands-on, autonomous environment while maintaining strong teamwork and clinical excellence.

Patient Population

• Adult ICU patients
• Common diagnoses: DKA, sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac rhythm issues, detox

Key Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients with high acuity needs
• Titrate ICU drips and monitor patient responses
• Interpret telemetry independently
• Provide care across respiratory support levels (nasal cannula → ventilator)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while maintaining autonomy
• Ensure safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment

Scheduling & Expectations

• Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend & holiday coverage based on unit needs
• Floating required to Med-Surg or ER (1:1 assignments)

Requirements

• Certifications Required:
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
  • TNCC / TCAR / or trauma experience required
• Strong ICU experience with drips, vents, and telemetry interpretation
• Ability to work independently in a low-support, high-responsibility environment
