Description
DCH - Travel: MS/Tele Renal 4S
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week.
HOLIDAYS AS REQUIRED. EVERY OTHER WEEKEND.
Our Renal Unit is a 36-bed unit that cares for our patients with kidney-related conditions, such as acute or chronic kidney disease that sometimes requires renal replacement therapy. Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and specialize in post-hemodialysis and ongoing peritoneal dialysis. This unit values robust collaboration with community nephrologists, family practice providers, and hospitalists to offer the best care possible for our renal patients. This team is dedicated to supporting patients in every step of their journey, from diagnosis to treatment and beyond.
Education - Required
- Associated degree in nursing
Certifications – Required
- AHA BLS
- Or Red Cross
Licenses – Required
- Registered Nurse State of Alabama or Compact license (No Temp Licenses' accepted)
- NURSYS
Experience - Required: - 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of RECENT experience in the field of specialty
