Description

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within an ambulatory environment.
  • Float between units as needed, with a focus on Urology specialty.
  • Manage a patient ratio of 1 nurse to 6-8 patients, ensuring personalized attention and thorough assessments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support patient education.

Required Skills:

  • Valid WA or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission).
  • Urology background preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work day shifts (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with flexibility for facility needs.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Previous experience in ambulatory or outpatient care settings.
  • Additional certifications relevant to urology or outpatient care.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Active RN license in Washington or a Compact state.
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in outpatient or urology specialties.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be prepared to float within the facility.
  • Complete required modules prior to start date; time management and self-reporting are essential.
  • References from supervisors covering a minimum of 6 months to 1 year within the last three years.
  • Candidate must have detailed interview availability, including time zones, with multiple options to facilitate scheduling.
  • No travel required beyond local compliance, and shift is Day (5x8 hours).
