Title: LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Location: Champaign, Illinois

Job Type: Full Time / Contract

Pay - $40 - $42/hr

Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 38 hours/week

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. This includes monitoring patient health, administering medication, and performing routine procedures like taking vitals and drawing blood.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior.
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records.
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.

• Must have 1+years of experience in Wound Care Specialization
• Must have 1+years of experience in Vital Signs Monitoring Specialization
• Must have 1+years of experience in Medication Administration Specialization
• Must have 1+years of experience in Medical Charting Specialization
• Must have 1+years of experience in Disease Management Specialization
• Must have 1+years of experience in Cpr Certification Specialization
• Must have 1+years of experience in Iv Therapy Specialization
• Must have 1+years of experience in Health Assessment Specialization
• Must have 1+years of experience in Emergency Response Specialization

Required Qualification

• Current RN or LPN license in the state of employment.
• Proven experience as a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times.
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English (oral and written).
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Ability to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays.
• Physical and mental fitness to handle the demands of long hours and stressful situations.
• The successful candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help maintain and improve patient health. We expect you to be trained in CPR and first aid as well as to be a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse.
