Description
L&D and PP experience required -- OB/postpartum BLS, ACLS, AWHONN fetal monitoring (intermediate or advanced), NRP required -- MA license and BILH coversheet required at time of submission. 12H days, 7p-7:30a - rotating weekends and holidays - L&D and PP EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- **PASS/FAIL ECG/TELE TEST AND MEDICATIONS TEST DURING ONBOARDING - ONE ATTEMPT ONLY TO PASS ** Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions) tests are now administered by CCH via Zoom Protector meeting PRIOR to assignment. We need RN’s to test within 48 hrs of confirmation. 85% is the passing score, there is NO opportunity for remediation or re-sit, so we suggest RN’s prepare for the test, leveraging the Study Guide provided by the client that include tips and answers ** Job Description: UNIT DESCRIPTION: The Birthplace is a 12-bed, private room, labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum unit that includes a nursery staffed by obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, pediatricians, neonatologists and registered nurses. The Unit also has a 2 bed triage and 6 bed postpartum area. Registered nurses are required to demonstrate competent care of the patient in labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn advanced fetal monitoring, breastfeeding education, neonatal resuscitation certification, advanced life support certification, and the OR scrub and circulating roles. Minimum Requirements: Current Massachusetts RN license Labor and Delivery experience required Mother/Baby experience required AHABLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire NRP required Evidence of recent EFM continuing education, or within 3 months of hire Recommended Requirements: OR Circulating & Scrub experience preferred Experience working in continuing care/special care nursery/NICU environment preferred - NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility) - Orientation is biweekly - NM to interview and offer - Please provide dates and times available for interview at time of submission - ALL RTO REQUESTS MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF SUB - Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as travel perm, travel or per diem within the last six months will not be accepted - MUST be separated from facility for six months to be considered
