Radiation Therapist – Long Term Assignment

Job Description

Join a dynamic oncology team as a Radiation Therapist in a long-term travel assignment. This role involves delivering precise radiation therapy treatments to a wide range of cancer patients, utilizing advanced radiation equipment and oncology systems while collaborating with clinical staff to ensure safe and effective care.

Key Responsibilities

Administer radiation therapy treatments using Varian Linear Accelerator systems (TrueBeam, 23ix)
Utilize ARIA Oncology Treatment System and VisionRT (SGRT) for treatment planning and delivery
Operate imaging equipment including Bravos HDR Varian System and Phillips CT Simulator (CT Sim)
Follow prescribed treatment plans, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Document treatments and patient progress in EMR systems
Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

Active ARRT certification
BLS certification required
Experience with Varian Radiation Equipment and Oncology Systems (TrueBeam, 23ix, ARIA)
Preferred: VisionRT (Surface Guided Radiation Therapy - SGRT) experience
Ability to work standard shifts with flexibility as required
Strong teamwork, communication, and patient care skills
