Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (RN-OR)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Schedule: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, includes call, weekends, and holidays (NO block scheduling)

Department: Operating Room

Assignment Type: 13-week contract

About the Role:
We are hiring an experienced OR Registered Nurse to join our Atlanta-based facility. This role is ideal for nurses with previous travel experience and Level 1 trauma exposure who thrive in fast-paced surgical environments. High competency in skills checklists and strong clinical judgment are required. Burn experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct perioperative care for surgical patients.
Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Respond effectively to Level 1 trauma situations and complex surgical cases.
Maintain high standards of care while adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Previous travel nursing experience (required).
Level 1 trauma experience (required).
Strong skills as demonstrated on clinical skills checklist.
Burn experience preferred.
Flexibility to work long shifts, call, weekends, and holidays.
