💰 Pay Package:

• Taxable: $35/hr
• Stipend: $1,246/week
• Total Gross: $2,506/week 

🏥 Unit Overview:

Join the Emergency Psychiatric Services Department at one of New England’s most comprehensive behavioral health facilities. The Crisis Psychiatric Unit provides care to patients ages 5 and up with acute psychiatric needs, including major depression, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorders, psychotic disorders, and patients seeking detox services. Some patients may also have concurrent medical needs.

🩺 Role Highlights:

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
• Develop and update individualized, interdisciplinary care plans
• Evaluate patient outcomes and identify appropriate resources
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary behavioral health team
• Manage high‑acuity psychiatric emergencies in a fast‑paced setting

✅ Requirements:

• Active Maine RN license
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• BLS certification required
• CPI certification must be current prior to start
• 1+ year of mental health nursing experience (required)
