Requirements

• Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • Must have infusion experience
  • Must have skilled home care experience
    • Private duty nursing experience alone will NOT be accepted
  • Must have home health experience with OASIS training and experience
• Clinical Skills:
  • IV skills and wound care
  • Experience with:
    • Cardiopulmonary assessment
    • ABI compression dressing
    • Wound VAC dressing
    • Pleurx/Asept drain care
    • Foley catheter care and changes
    • Staple/suture removal
    • Glucometer use
    • Pro-time machine use
    • SQ/IM injections
    • Lab draw/venipuncture
    • PICC line/Midline care and dressing changes
    • SQ port access/de-access
• Patient Care Experience:
  • General medical diagnoses
  • High-risk diagnoses including:
    • Heart Failure (HF)
    • COPD
    • Myocardial Infarction (MI)
    • Pneumonia
    • Stroke
  • Post-operative care
• Certifications:
  • BCLS required
  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious exemptions allowed)
• Licensure & Additional Requirements:
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for home visits
  • Must be comfortable with self-scheduling visits based on office needs

Work Schedule & Caseload

• Visits: 6–8 home visits per day
• Shift Options:
  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Thursday – Monday or Friday – Tuesday schedules
  • Alternating weekend shifts required
• Schedule and visits are self-managed based on HomeCare office needs

Equipment & Systems

• Laptop, MiFi (internet access), and portable printer provided
• Documentation systems:
  • BayCare Forms
  • BayCare Scheduling
  • Ace Timesheet

Additional Details

• Scrubs: Any solid color
• Patient Population: Skilled Home Care (Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Commercial Insurance)
