Job Description:
Department: Med Tele / Ortho RN - 4th Floor North & South
Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred*
Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:5-6
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: MedSurg/Tele- joint replacements, fractures, colon resections, COPD exacerbation, prostatectomy, cellulitis, sepsis, ortho trauma, GI bleeds, pneumonia, failure to thrive
Are RN's required to titrate drips?: Heparin, lidocaine, and ketamine
Common titratable &/or set rate drips: PCA pumps - Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift
Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes
Job Details:
13 weeks with possible extension
Shifts:3*12 Hours Nights

Experience- 2 years exp as RN-Med Surg
Pay Package:
$29/Hr on W2+ $1414/week Stipend. Gross weekly $2458/week
