Description

Job Title: Critical Care RN – Coronary Care Unit (CCU)

Location: Rockford, IL (Candidates must live more than 50 miles from facility)

Schedule: 12-hour nights, every other weekend and every other holiday

Assignment Type: Travel / Short-term assignment

Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses to care for CCU patients at a mid-to-large hospital in Rockford, IL. The ideal candidate has prior experience in coronary care, thrives in high-acuity environments, and demonstrates strong clinical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care for CCU patients following hospital protocols.
  • Monitor cardiac patients and respond to acute changes in condition.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to patient safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience caring for CCU or coronary care patients (must be shown on resume).
  • Minimum experience in a mid-to-large hospital setting.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
  • Must live more than 50 miles from the facility.
