Total Weekly Gross Pay: $1,783.00 Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Shift: 7a-7p
Position Overview
Methodist Hospital in San Antonio is seeking an experienced MSICU Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (7C). This role requires strong critical‑thinking skills, advanced clinical experience, and the ability to float as needed per Methodist policy.
Unit Information
- Unit: MSICU (7C)
- Classification: RN – MSICU
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Common Procedures:
- Chest tubes, tracheostomies, GI scopes
- Intubations, central lines, arterial lines
- NG tubes, Foley catheters, dressing changes
Must‑Have Qualifications
Candidates without these will not be considered:
- Minimum 2–3 years ICU experience
- Strong critical‑thinking and clinical assessment skills
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Active Texas RN License
- Temporary licenses are not accepted
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with these skills will be prioritized:
- MICU or MSICU background
- Meditech charting and order entry experience
Additional Notes
- All travelers must comply with Methodist Hospital’s floating policy.
- Badging in/out is required for every shift.
- Professional punctuality and adherence to unit guidelines are expected.
