• Beds/Suites: 2 Open Heart Surgical Suites
• Staffing:
  • Day: 2 RNs + 2 Techs
  • Night: On-call
• Patient Ratio: 2:1
• Equipment:
  • Open Heart instrumentation & supplies
  • TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography)
  • Ultrasound
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Call Requirement:
  • Every other day + every other weekend

✅ Must-Have Requirements

• ACLS & BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of current acute CVOR experience

🔧 Procedures Performed

• CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft)
• MVR (Mitral Valve Replacement)
• AVR (Aortic Valve Replacement)
• Pacemaker placement
• Laser lead extractions
• Thoracic procedures (some)
• Endovascular procedures (some)
• Support for:
  • TAVR
  • Mitral clips

👉 Bonus: Experience with minimally invasive cardiac procedures preferred

👩‍⚕️ Role Responsibilities

• Pre, intra, and post-operative patient care
• Maintain sterile surgical environment
• Ensure availability of equipment & medications
• Document procedures and patient outcomes
• Handle surgical specimens properly
• Maintain patient safety & quality control at all times
