Job Description – Travel RN MedSurg (Flex Pool)

Position Details:

Specialty: MedSurg RN (Flex Pool)
Shift: 3x12 or 4x12 Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Patient Ratio: 1:6–7 (staffing plan supports 1:6; may flex to 1:7 for unplanned absences)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-Call: PRN for low census
Travel experience: Not required
Floating: Required within scope to meet facility needs or to sister units

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of MedSurg/Telemetry experience
First-time travelers accepted
SC license or Compact license required at start
Epic experience required

Certifications:

Required: BLS
Preferred: ACLS, NIHSS

Skills:

Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Telemetry
Insulin administration
Rapid Response

Additional Details:

Previous charge experience preferred
Total staffed beds: 276
