Unit: Stroke - will work a 5/2 schedule rotation.
Active LA/Comp License for submission. .
Certs Required: ACLS, BLS, NIH.
Experience Required: 2 years. Titratable gtts: Cardene, Cardizem, Insulin, Heparin, Neo, Levophed. Chest tube management, traches, Peritoneal Dialysis, ISTAT, CSF (lumbar) drains (preferred) Traveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival (includes MedSurg RN)
RN: 1:3
Patient Types:
CVA/TIA in need of TPA administration; Spinal surgical – ACDF, Laminectomy
·Stepdown unit overflow -- AFIB/RVR, DKA, HTN, COPD, ARF, s/p Heart Caths, etc.
Floating: Units: Stepdown and MedSurg with ratios of 1:5-6.
Facility scheduled is 36/48 bi weekly. The week your on 48s like make lot more. Few hours less on 36 hours. So this sent to 42 hours to Bridges the gap. Lets chat about it.
