Job Title: MRI Technologist

Location: San Angelo, TX 76903
Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Schedule: 40 hours/week (4 days/week)
Salary Range: $55,000 – $80,000 annually
Experience: New Graduates Welcome

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans as prescribed by physicians
• Screen patients thoroughly for MRI safety (metal implants, contraindications, etc.)
• Prepare and position patients correctly to ensure accurate imaging results
• Operate MRI equipment and adjust scanning parameters for optimal image quality
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any discomfort or adverse reactions
• Maintain strict adherence to MRI safety protocols and infection control standards
• Review images for clarity and completeness before submission to radiologists
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any technical issues
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support timely diagnosis

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in radiologic technology or related field
• ARRT certification (R) or (MRI) preferred or required (depending on facility)
• Texas state licensure (or eligibility)
• Knowledge of MRI safety standards and cross-sectional anatomy
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
