We are currently seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a travel assignment at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in St Johnsbury.

This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced rural emergency department while enjoying the scenic beauty of Vermont!

• Start Date: April 29, 2026
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Nights (3x12s) – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
• Location: St. Johnsbury, VT
• Setting: Rural Critical Access Hospital (9-bed ED | ~15K annual visits)
• EMR: Meditech

💼 Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department
• Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal care delivery
• Adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

✅ Requirements

• Active Vermont RN License or Compact License
• BLS & ACLS (required)
• PALS required | TNCC preferred
• Minimum 3 years of ER experience
• Experience with Meditech (or ability to learn quickly)

• Travelers start on Wednesdays
• Orientation week guarantees 36 hours (for 48-hr contracts)
• Holiday coverage required
• Credentialing must be completed 5 days prior to start
• No public transportation available (rural location)
