Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
Direct Hire | Full‑Time | Night Shift
A rural acute care healthcare facility is seeking a skilled and patient‑focused Radiologic Technologist to join its diagnostic imaging department. This role is responsible for performing high‑quality diagnostic imaging examinations that support accurate diagnosis and treatment while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
The Radiologic Technologist supports a wide variety of imaging services in a critical access hospital environment and works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
Position Overview:
- Permanent, full‑time direct‑hire role
- Night shift position
- Acute care / critical access hospital setting
- Training and cross‑modality opportunities available
Shift Details:
- Sunday – Thursday
- 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM
- Eligible for shift differential pay
Compensation & Incentives:
- up to $7,500 sign‑on bonus
- Bonus is considered a relocation incentive
- Two‑year commitment
Typically paid at 90 days and 12 months (terms may be discussed)

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using appropriate modalities.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce high‑quality images for physician interpretation.
- Ensure patient comfort, proper positioning, and safety during procedures.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and imaging protocols.
- Accurately document patient information and exam details.
- Assist with scheduling and coordination of imaging studies.
- Maintain imaging equipment and work areas according to department standards.
- Provide high levels of patient care and customer service.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Imaging Services May Include:
- General diagnostic radiology
- Orthopedic clinic imaging
- CT and CT‑guided procedures
- DEXA scans
- Fluoroscopy exams
- Pain management procedures
- Surgical imaging support
- Mammography
- MRI
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT registration or equivalent national certification
- Canon/Toshiba CT experience preferred
- New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply
Licensure & Certifications
- ARRT (R) registration required
- ARRT (M) Mammography registration or registry‑eligible if performing mammography duties
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire
