Occupational Therapist (OT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation

HCA Houston West – Main Building, 3rd Floor

Location: 12141 Richmond Ave, Houston, TX 77082

Unit Overview – Inpatient Rehab

Beds: 20
Total Staff: 54 (RNs, techs, PT, OT, ST, therapy techs, manager)
Day Shift Staffing: 1 CNC, 2–3 RNs, 1 tech
Night Shift Staffing: 1 CNC, 2–3 RNs, 1 tech
Patient Ratio: 4–6 patients per clinician
Equipment Available: Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, rolling walkers, rollators, NuStep, LiteGait, hospital beds, bed/chair alarms, oxygen tanks, pulse oximeters, blood pressure machines
EHR: Meditech

Position Details

Role: Occupational Therapist Department: Inpatient Rehabilitation Schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Weekend Requirement: Preferred Tuesday–Saturday schedule; alternating weekends possible Floating: May float to acute care or outpatient if needed

Required Qualifications

Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapy License (Texas)
Ability to perform OT evaluations and daily treatments

Preferred Qualifications

Prior Inpatient Rehabilitation experience

Typical Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations
Provide daily therapeutic treatments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab team
