👩‍⚕️ Position Requirements

• Experience:
  • 2+ years overall clinical experience
  • 2+ years in OR specialty
• Certifications (Required): BLS, ACLS (AHA only)
• Preferred: National Certification (Scrub Techs)
• Epic Experience: Required (within last 2 years – non-negotiable)
• Skills:
  • Strong in Orthopedics (must)
  • General surgery & GYN required
  • Eye experience (basic acceptable)
  • Scrub preferred, strong circulators accepted

⏰ Schedule & Shifts

• Work Days: Monday–Friday
• Shift Options:
  • 06:50–15:30 (8 hrs)
  • 06:50–17:30 (10 hrs)
  • 11:00–19:30 (Evening)
• Set Day Off: Available

📞 Call & Weekend Requirements

• Call:
  • 1 weekday call/week (15:30–07:00)
  • 1 weekend every 5 weeks (Fri–Sun)
• Holidays: Rotational
• Flexibility: Required (schedule may adjust based on unit needs)

• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Roles: Circulate & Scrub
• Support Staff:
  • OR Assistants
  • Surgery Scheduler
• Advanced Staff: RNFAs, CRNAs
• Orientation: 3 days

• Medication: Pyxis + Med Room
• Equipment:
  • Baxter IV Pumps
  • MindRay Monitors
  • Standard OR + Anesthesia Machines

🏥 Cases & Specialties

• Orthopedics (Total joints, sports medicine)
• Minor trauma (ORIF cases)
• Cataracts
• General surgery
• Podiatry, Urology, GYN
• Cardiology (Pacemakers)
• Note: Must be open to C-sections (training provided)

👕 Dress Code

• Scrubs: Hospital-provided
• Shoes: OR-dedicated
• Jewelry: Not allowed
• Grooming: Surgical standards required
