Total Staff: 71
Staffing Model:
- Day Shift: Labor nurse, nursery nurse, OB tech, secretary, leadership, educator
- Night Shift: Labor nurse, nursery nurse, OB tech, secretary
Patient Ratios:
- Labor: 1:1 (majority of the time)
- Post‑partum: 5–6:1
- Nursery: 5–6:1
Equipment: GE fetal monitors
EMR: Meditech, CPN

What You’ll Do

You’ll care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns in a fast‑paced MIU environment. The unit supports a wide range of obstetric care needs, including high‑volume deliveries.

Vaginal deliveries
C‑sections
Antepartum care
Newborn and postpartum care

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of labor experience
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of labor experience in an LDRP setting
Experience in high‑birth‑volume environments

Schedule & Call

Weekends: Every third weekend
Call: 12 hours per 4‑week schedule

Dress Code

Scrubs: Navy blue
Additional: MIU nurses wear pink security badges for infant safety
