Description
Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Molecular)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Position Type: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day – 5x8 Hour Shifts
Start Date: 04/13
Job Description:
• Certifications: CA CLS or California Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist (or similar) required
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field required
• Experience: High-volume, complex lab experience required
• Strong knowledge of DNA/RNA extraction required
• Ability to float to other UCSF facilities required
Preferred:
• Experience in a CLIA molecular lab
• 2+ years of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) experience
• Experience with lab automation systems
