Description
Nuclear Med Tech - Days (Hilo, Hawaii) - Contract
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Prepare radiopharmaceuticals
- Perform camera quality control (Q.C.)
- Conduct general nuclear medicine imaging
- Prepare and monitor EKGs for cardiac exams
- Receive and document radioactive shipments
- Perform NRC-required daily and weekly quality control
Equipment Used:
- SIEMENS Dual Headed ECAM with ESOFT Processing
- CAPTUS 3000
- NMISGE MAC 5000
Schedule
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts
- 40 hours per week after first week of orientation
- Floating to other units/departments based on competency and licensure
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging / Nuclear Medicine
- Active Hawaii State license in Nuclear Medicine required by start of assignment (must apply if not currently licensed)
- ARRT or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine
- BLS certification (must be AHA)
- ACLS certification preferred
Additional Information
- Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday
- Dress code includes scrubs, street clothes, and lab coat
