Job Summary

RN Med-Surg Contract – Rhinelander, WI

📍 Location: Rhinelander, WI
📅 Start Date: ASAP
⏱ Schedule: 36 hrs/week (12-hour variable shifts)

Key Details

Contract Type: Travel RN (GSA 36 hrs)
Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend + every other holiday
Floating: Required to similar units + nearby facilities (Howard Young, Tomahawk, Eagle River)
On-Call: Possible (low census → on-call; 2-hour call-back minimum)
Orientation: GSA not applicable during orientation week
Low Census: Up to 36 hrs unbillable

Requirements

License: Active WI RN License
Certifications: BLS (AHA/Red Cross) + PALS
Experience:
- Preferred: 2+ years Med-Surg
- Considered: 1.5+ years Med-Surg + other acute care experience
Charting: EPIC experience required

Patient Population

Primarily Med-Surg
Occasional pediatric surgical cases (ENT/Ortho)

Additional Info

Scrubs: Any color
Radius Rule: Must live outside 50 miles
Interview: Clinical interview required

Facility Policy

During flu season, travelers declining flu/COVID vaccines must wear a mask at all times (mandatory, no exceptions)
