- Beds: 200 Licensed Beds
- Will occasionally have MD/RN students
- General Information:
- Number of Beds: 77
- Minimum Years of Experience?
- RN: 2 years
- Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
- Candidate should be more than 60 miles
- Required Certifications:
- RN: BLS, ACLS
- Skills required:
- RN: Cardiac drip management-Heparin, Diltiazem, Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation, IV Starts, management of chest tubes, trach care, etc., Central line/PICC line care
- Support on the Unit:
- Charge RN – M-F Days free floating, Weekends and nights takes an assignment
- CNA number varies on census
- RT 24/7
- Hospitalist 24/7
- Intensivist available for consult 24/7
- Technology/Equipment:
- EMR: Cerner
- Pyxis
- GE Monitors
- Floating:
- Float Staff Float to Surgical, Medical, Telemetry, Observation Unit, and IMC
- Orientation Period:
- 1 Shift of regulatory and equipment review with tour. 1 Shift orienting on a clinical unit
- Scheduling:
- Schedule cycle: Approximately every 4 weeks
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend; weekend includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Is Call required? Call may be required if census drops
- Holiday Expectations: required and scheduled as needed
- Other notes:
- Scrub Color: Any color as long as professional – scrubs will not be provided
- Parking: Free
