Taxable: $30/hr
Stipend: $1,246/week
Total Gross: $2,326/week

 Position Overview:

American Consultants is seeking an experienced Med‑Surg RN for a night‑shift travel assignment in Shelton, WA. The RN will provide comprehensive medical‑surgical care, manage multiple patient conditions, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, high‑quality patient outcomes.

Medical-Surgical RN Job Duties:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions
• Monitor patient status, including vital signs, lab results, and response to treatments
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and post-operative care
• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, mobility, and nutrition
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Identify and respond to changes in patient condition, including emergencies
• Ensure infection control practices and patient safety standards are followed
• Prepare patients for procedures, tests, and surgeries
• Support discharge planning and care transitions

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
