🔹 Job Summary (OR RN – Travel/Contract)

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform patient care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments
• Accurately document all patient care activities
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions with physicians, care teams, patients, and families
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and elimination
• Coordinate care across departments (transfers, discharges, referrals, psychosocial/spiritual support)
• Educate patients and families based on condition, culture, and needs
• Advocate for patient’s physical and emotional well-being

🔹 Facility Requirements

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (On-call & weekends required)
• Active Texas RN License (Required)
• Certifications Required:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
    (All must be through the American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years recent OR RN experience
• Experience with Stryker video towers (laparoscopic procedures)
• Must be able to take weekday & weekend call (1-hour response time)
• May be required to float between 2 facilities
