Description
Active RN IL License Med Surg/Telemetry 2 years recent exp required
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to both pediatric and adult medical-surgical patients
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
Maintain accurate patient documentation using the electronic medical record system
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
Provide patient and family education related to treatment plans and health conditions
Float to other units when census is low as required by the facility
Maintain safe patient care while managing up to 5 patients depending on census and staffing
Requirements
Experience
Recent EPIC experience within the last year required
Experience working with both pediatric and adult Med/Surg patients
Experience working in hospital inpatient settings
Ability to float to other units when required
Licenses/Certifications
Active RN IL License
BLS – American Heart Association
PALS – American Heart Association
Education
Graduate of an accredited Nursing programkk
