Description

Experience:

Minimum of three year as a CVOR Scrub person in a hospital setting

Licensure Preferred:

Approved program for Operating Room Technicians or demonstrated technical skills through on the job training

Certification:

Scrub Tech Certification Preferred
BLS for HealthCare providers required
Strong CVOR and open heart experience required
May work other cases when there are no hearts - ortho, neuro, robotics

Education:

Minimum of high school education preferred

Schedule Notes:

Monday - Friday 8 hour days 630-1500.
Start time may vary slightly depending on timing of the scheduled heart cases.
On-call: 48 hours on Saturday/Sunday, 16 hours weekday as assigned (this would be in addition to the 8 hour regularly scheduled shift)
On average, on-call is every other weekend and approx 2 weekdays
