Description

CT Technologist New Graduates Welcome

Location: San Angelo, TX 76903
Shift: 8 PM – 8 AM (shift negotiable)
Schedule: Fri- Sun, 3x12
Salary Range: $64,000 – $90,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans as ordered by physicians
Prepare and position patients accurately to ensure optimal imaging results
Operate CT equipment and adjust technical parameters for precise image capture
Administer contrast media when required, following safety protocols
Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and infection control practices
Review and evaluate CT images for quality and completeness before submission to radiologists
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions or issues promptly
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to ensure timely diagnosis

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
ARRT certification (R) required; CT certification (ARRT-CT) preferred or obtained within a specified timeframe
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging techniques
Strong patient care, communication, and critical-thinking skills
