Travel/Contract Pharmacist Opportunity – Peridot, Arizona

We are seeking a highly experienced Pharmacist for a contract opportunity in Peridot, AZ. This role requires a strong clinical background and the ability to work across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room settings as needed.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy environment where pharmacists are expected to work collaboratively with healthcare teams, maintain accuracy, and provide timely patient care.

Role Overview:

Process and verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and controlled substance policies
Provide timely patient counseling and medication guidance
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff
Maintain current medication knowledge and adapt across different pharmacy settings
Support both outpatient and inpatient operations as needed

Work Environment & Expectations:

Hospital setting with outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
Exposure to Emergency Room (ER) pharmacy workflow
High-volume operations with strong team support and technology
Variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and swing shifts
Flexibility required to float and adjust based on operational needs

Minimum Requirements (Must Meet to Be Considered): 1) Minimum 5 years of professional pharmacist experience required 2) At least 2 years of management or leadership experience required 3) Hospital experience required (inpatient and/or outpatient) 4) Emergency Room (ER) pharmacy experience required 5) Recent hospital experience required Education & Licensure: 1) Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required (PharmD preferred; residency is a plus) 2) Current and active, unrestricted Pharmacist license required 3) Arizona state license preferred (or willingness to obtain prior to start) 4) BLS certification required (or must be obtained within 30 days) Additional Notes: 1) Must be able to pass background check and drug screening 2) Candidates must meet all required criteria to be considered
