"Certs: Do they need BLS (will they have contact w/ patients?)
MLT or MT certified: (CA requires CLS)
Do they need ASCP (American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science) or AMT (American Medical Technologists)?" No BLS, need MLS through ASCP.
(Hematology/Serology, Chemistry/Coag, Micro, & Blood Bank)" All areas, including Anatomical Pathology
