·         Number of Beds – 11 ORs and a Cysto room

·         Number of Staff – 31

·         Type of staff:

o    Day Shift – 1 Director, 1 Charge Nurse, Multiple Circulators and Surgical Techs, 3 Nurse Techs, 1 Anesthesia Tech, 1 Unit Clerk

o    Night Shift – No overnight shift

·         Patient Ratios – 1-1

·         Type of equipment -

·         EMR – Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for:  CV OR

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·         Minimum 3 years of recent CV surgery experience.

·         On and off pump CABG experience

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·         CV OR experience

·         Vascular surgery experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

·         Off Pump CABG

·         On Pump CABG

·          Vascular Bypass

·         Carotid Endarterectomy

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

·         RN

·         BLS

·         ACLS

·         PALS

Weekends and On call(if any)

·       call requirements are Monday through Friday 3p-7a since we have one RN covering the call. Once we have a second RN it will switch to every other day and every other weekend.
