Description

🏥 Operating Room (OR) Travel Position – Job Summary

📍 Location Requirement

Must live within 75 miles of hospital (based on Driver’s License address)
Driver’s License required at submission

⏰ Shift & Facility Details

19 OR Suites
55–60 cases/day (~1000/month)
Full-service facility (except major peds & transplants)
Functions similar to a Level 2 Trauma Center
No C-sections in main OR

📋 Requirements

Experience: 2–3+ years minimum
Certifications: BLS & ACLS (required)
EMR: Meditech
CST required for OR Techs
RN Scrubbing: Preferred but not required

🏥 Case Types

General, Ortho, Neuro, Cardio/Thoracic, Robotics
Some trauma (ortho/neuro)
Must have broad skill competency across services

📞 Call & Weekend Requirements

RN:

Call: Every 7th weekend (avg)
No weekday call (except specialty teams)
Specialty call teams:
- Ortho/Neuro
- Cardio/Thoracic
Call response time: 30 minutes

CST:

No scheduled weekends

Weekends (RN):

Approx. 1 weekend per quarter

Surgeons on call 24/7
