Position Overview

A well‑established Bronx medical center is seeking an experienced Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support its busy day‑shift imaging team. This role is ideal for a tech who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, maintains strong attention to detail, and delivers high‑quality patient care throughout all phases of nuclear imaging.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience
• Active New York State License (required to submit)
• CNMT via NMTCB
• Current BLS (AHA)
• Strong competency in general Nuclear Medicine procedures and stress testing workflows

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of radionuclide procedures in accordance with department protocols
• Conduct exercise and pharmacological Nuclear Stress Tests, ensuring accurate monitoring and documentation
• Receive, prepare, and position patients for Nuclear Imaging studies
• Complete all required forms, documentation, and computer‑system entries with accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain compliance with radiation‑safety standards and institutional policies
• Collaborate with technologists, nurses, and physicians to support efficient patient throughput
